SwatchRandom.jsx is such a time saver. If you ever struggled with manually clicking every single shape to change colors from a palette, you need this.
Basically, you just select your objects (or even just a block of text) and pick some swatches from your panel, then run the script. It randomly splashes those colors across everything you selected. It’s perfect for making those “confetti” text effects or just giving an icon set a more organic look without overthinking it.
I used it on a huge group of shapes earlier and it did in 2 seconds what usually takes me like 20 mins lol.
What it does:
- Randomly applies your selected swatches to objects
- If you select one text box, it colors every letter differently!
- Works on groups and compound paths too
Definitely worth adding to your toolkit if your tired of the manual grind.
